These are three more simple machines. They are: wedge, screw, and inclined plane. The wedge is two inclined planes placed back to back, with the force behind it. The load is split in half, breaking it down.

The screw is an inclined plane wrapped around a cylinder. The force has to be more powerful than the effort.
The inclined plane is a sloped surface that makes work easier. By breaking it upword or downward in increments.
